The key goal of the Tobacco Manager at QuickChek is the overall performance of the Tobacco Department. The Tobacco Manager is responsible for a specific department in the store and may have additional responsibilities such as meeting sales goals, achieving shrink goals, maintaining in-stock conditions, following planograms, maintaining a clean department, and ordering product for the department. Tobacco Managers need to be able to provide exceptional customer service while encouraging, training, and motivating Team Members to complete all shift tasks and achieve goals.

1. Provide exceptional customer service and tend to customers in a prompt, efficient, friendly manner
2. Keep department in stock and set to planogram
3. Maintain a clean, well-merchandised, and labeled department
4. Monitor tobacco sales performance and shrink
5. Actively challenge self and all Team Members to surpass sales goals
6. Control inventory levels and shrink
7. Monitor CAO and perform smart counts to ensure proper inventory levels
8. Complete cigarette inventory and act on discrepancies in count of 75 packs
9. Ensure all displays are to standard and signage is correct
10. Practice proper cigarette rotation
11. Pack out cigarette deliveries and ensure cigarettes are stamped upon receiving
12. Control damages and returns within standards
13. Keep up-to-date on new policies and procedures
14. Attend all mandatory/scheduled store meetings
15. Communicate any questions, concerns, or issues to the Store Leader timely
16. Practice Loss Prevention policies
